TPS Trips and Events: www.tpsevents.org
A good education is more than just classes. TPS provides opportunities for service, leadership, enrichment, and cross-cultural experience.
International Service Trips
Our international service trips are designed with two primary goals:
— Service that actually helps. All of our trips are part of our ongoing partnerships with local national ministries. Rather than promoting a chain of dependence on outside help, we support local Christians in ongoing ministry to their own people.
— Discipleship of our own team. We select participants who want to meet God in a new context and see the world as He does. So every part of our trips from start to finish is centered on worship through service and discipleship.
If you’re looking to meet God through short-term sacrificial service in a cross-cultural setting, please consider one of these overseas trips: China (Jul 6-25), France (Jul 5-23), Honduras (Jul 20 – Aug 2). You will have life-changing experiences and build life-changing relationships.
Our Summer Camp is not necessarily cross-cultural (though for many students the rural setting may be 😉 ), but it is an experience of worship and discipleship wrapped in enjoyment of friends and activities. Our Summer Camp partners with Miracle Mountain Ranch, where the staff and counselors are all part of a year-long apprenticeship School of Discipleship that prepares them for a life of ministry, where being camp counselors is an application of their discipleship ministry. Our Summer Camp is open to teens, accompanying parents or entire families, and parents say it is a great family retreat.
We hold the TPS Graduation ceremony in the same location as Summer Camp at the end of the camp week. Graduating students don’t have to be registered for Summer Camp, but the camp week is a great way to say goodbye to TPS friends, and we have special events and opportunities for graduates during the camp week.
